With men, dress shoes are basic with only a few types to choose; but women’s dress shoes come in a vast array of different styles. They can be designed in suede, patent leather, and “pleather” (feaux leather made with a man-made material). The varieties of styles of a pump are high-heeled, mid-heeled, and low-heeled and comfort. Birkenstock shoes are well known for an earthy style, as in sandals, but they do have a line of shoes that can be considered dress shoes.
