I’m not quite sure why Scary Spice is hula hooping on the street in a pair of sky-high pumps. Does this have something to do with wanting to ziga-zig-ah? Either way, I’m quite amused by it:
I’d be more amused by Posh Spice in heels on a pogo stick, but this is entertaining nonetheless. Wearing high heels while performing mundane tasks is always more fun, more challenging and gives your calves a work out. I personally enjoy using the foot stepper while wearing heels (usually while singing “Step by Step” by New Kids on the Block) and playing Guitar Hero (usually with a glass of wine for what I call “Courtney Love Guitar Hero – the challenge is to beat the game while remaining upright).
Friends of mine whom aren’t experienced with heels always ask, “How do you walk in such high heels?” And my answer is always the same: “Practice.” Wear your heels while doing the laundry or vacuuming. Take a walk on your treadmill in heels. If you’re going to fall in your heels, best to get it out of the way while you’re home alone, as oppose to in the middle of a busy street. And as for walking down the street, always remember that sidewalk cracks and sewer grates are not your friends. Scary’s wearing a pair of towering, blue suede platform pumps like the Steve Madden “Caryssa”: Quite chic, and affordable.
