Recently launched by two students, Frederic Mugnier and Nicolas Rohr FAGUO have an innovative concept: bought a pair is equal to a tree planted.
From the Chinese, "FAGUO" means "France" or more exactly "country of laws and manners".
The brand manager wants because it has commissioned a firm to calculate the carbon footprint of its activities, the objective being to minimize CO2 emissions. At the same time, the brand is involved in reforestation of France through a portion of its revenues specifically allocated.
"Planting a tree for a pair of FAGUO sold, is a step to better respect the environment. The coconut button sewn on each shoe is a symbol. "
The Spring-Summer 2010
This collection is open to everyone, man or women, fashionistas or classic. Two models are currently available: OAK and FIR.
OAK: Simple and elegant decorating the little button that makes the personal touch of the brand, the collection is enriched by three new colors: beige (light gray), navy and orange.
FIR: Making its appearance in two colors this year, this model is available in white and black. Made in suede, white model gives a backspin while the black model goes to the feet of all dandies.
